All American Trail

Worth the drive, the All American Trail is a scenic and educational pathway. Eventually, it will span the entire boundary of Fort Bragg. Surrounded by longleaf pine forests, it's home to over 400 wildlife species like the endangered red-cockaded woodpeckers. These birds feature white cheeks and black-and-white ladder-striped backs. Very vocal, they make a "churt" sound when flying into a roosting and nesting area.
